Hello World! And welcome to my first LearyLabs blog post! In this blog, I'll be sharing some insights regarding technology updates, industry specific news, and some personal takes on all things tech. But for my first post, I wanted to be a little more personal.
My Vision with LearyLabs
LearyLabs was started based on a vision I had: I want to use my tech knowledge to help small businesses grow at a fair price. As I've worked in my career, I've watched prices for services escalate dramatically. But the interesting thing is that the cost of the mechanics behind those tools haven't gone up quite as exponentially. My goal is not to reinvent the wheel, but to remake it with out all costly (and uneccessary) addons.
I've helped companies start from square one, elevate to the next level, and grow from statewide to nationwide. This growth comes from both updating technology AND having the proper training and setup. Through each of my packages, I'll be working with you each step of the way to elevate your business and take it to the next level.
My Background
I grew up in Southern California and then moved to Oregon for College. I studied Business Marketing and Administration for one year and then switched my major to Computer Science. When I was near the end of my degree, I decided I wanted to transfer to University of Washington to complete my CS degree. My goal at the time was to then apply for the Paul G Allen School of Computer Science and Engineering to complete my Masters. Ooooh how things changed. I met my beautiful wife, married her, and then got stuck in my home durng COVID right after moving to Washington State. This derailed my plan entirely.
Stuck in my house for two years, I found myself in need of a new job I could work remotely. I then found myself in the Medicare industry helping an agency by applying my tech knowledge. At first it was barely any use of my incomplete degree. But as time progressed, I found myself working directly into a career path that applied my current knowledge and gave me the opportunity to grow. Since then, I've still not completed my degree and don't plan on it! I'm a college dropout. I still think the world of higher education, but it stopped fitting into my life.
Even though I never completed my degree, I never stopped learning. From AI to Programming, I stay up to date with industry changes. Heck, I run my own Linux server! (part of the reason I can offer websites so cheap). I love working on technology. And I love helping people. I'm working to combine those two things to help you. Working with LearyLabs, you will get everything and more than you can get working with those large corporations that nickel and dime you for everything. They aren't the only ones that know how to be successful on the internet.
Wrapping Up
To be completely honest, I thought about using AI to write this blog. But then I decided I wanted to just be me. And that is what you get with LearyLabs. You get the best possilbe tech solutions, next-level support, and a tech guy to do it who is honest. Yes, i'm also trying to make this into an income stream, but my pricing will always be transparent. Basically every cost is based on my cost + my time. After that, I'd rather keep you as a customer than add nonsense fees. If and when I grow, I'll continue to honor my founding clients, but if I add employees or benefits, you'll see the prices change.
I hope you have a great day, you eat something tasty, and you and your stay well!
Nick
